Smithwick made this in response to angler requests for a deep version of the Perfect 10 Rogue, the super-responsive, deeper-than-normal jerkbait that was a hit with trollers as well. The Perfect 20 has an extended version of that bait’s revolutionary lip design, which allows this bait to troll down to 20′ without losing that well-known Rogue rolling action that’s so deadly on walleye, salmon, trout, and more. Optimum running speed is 1.5 to 2.0 mph, though you’ll still get great movement at slower speeds—something to remember for the colder months, or whenever the casting situation calls for a deep-diving jerkbait. Equipped with a large tungsten rattle to send out a resounding thump through the water column.
