This electric food mill from Weston (model 61-0201-W) is a great labor-saving device. Electric milling action strains out seeds & skin while leaving pulp or the “meat” of your fruit or vegetable so you can make perfectly-textured sauces, purees, jams, applesauce, mashed potatoes, and more. A safety interlock on the cover (or lid) prevents operation until the cover is securely in place. Three milling disks (medium, coarse and fine) are included; these disks are stainless steel; the included instruction pamphlet specifies which disk you need. For example, the coarse disk is great for chunky-textured foods like mashed potatoes or salsa. This electric mill is used when placed over a bowl, stockpot or platter; non-slip feet hold it in place (can be placed over a bowl that’s up to 10″ in diameter).
