Built using ultra-sensitive 24-ton Toray carbon blank materials, these Rods employ MLS (Multi-Layer Structure) technology that layers carbon of varying modulus and fiber direction to produce a reinforced construction and improved torsional load resistance. In addition, an X-shaped carbon tape wrapping along the blank provides increased durability and overall power.
The guides are made of polished stainless-steel frames with nano-lite rings to increase castability and durability. Coupled with streamlined reel seats that fit comfortably in your hand and reduced weight. This rod will keep you fishing all day.
The Defender was designed for everyday American fisherman. Tough enough to be tossed in the truck and boat, but sensitive enough to feel the softest bite!
