30-Day Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after purchasing your item to request a return.

Eligibility for a standard return

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • It must be in its original, unused, and unworn condition.
  • All original tags must be attached.
  • It must be in its original packaging.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Starting a return

The fastest and easiest way to process a return is through your customer account.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Find your order.
  3. Request a return.
  4. Select the items you wish to return.
  5. Select a reason.

Return Authorization: Do not send items back without first requesting a return. Items returned without authorization will not be accepted.

Return shipping costs

  • For standard returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • We can provide a prepaid return shipping label, and the cost will be deducted from your refund.
  • Alternatively, you can choose and pay for your own shipping method.

Refunds

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable. An exception will be made if the item was damaged or rendered defective during the original shipping process.
  • Refunds will be processed back to the original form of payment.
  • For gift items, a gift card will be issued to the gift recipient for the value of the return.
  • Following the receipt and inspection of your return, you will be notified of its approval status. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 10 business days have passed since our approval, please contact us at info@northwoodsoutlet.com.

Damages and issues

  • Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
  • Important: For certain manufacturer-warrantied items (like defective electronics, crossbows, fishing rods/reels, or footwear with manufacturer warranties), you may need to return the item directly to the original manufacturer. We will provide instructions and assist you with this process.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned. Please read this list carefully:

  • Perishable goods
  • Custom or modified products (e.g., cut arrows)
  • Crossbows (due to safety concerns and manufacturer warranties, which must be handled directly with the manufacturer)
  • Tree stands
  • Kayaks
  • Hazardous materials (e.g., ice augers, gas cans, anything containing propane)
  • Used clothing, footwear, or waders (manufacturer warranties may apply)
  • Electronics (due to potential for tampering and manufacturer warranty issues)
  • Ammunition
  • Tires
  • Gift cards
  • DNR licenses
  • Holiday or Seasonal items will be refunded at the most recent clearance price.

Exchanges

  • The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have. Once the return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
  • If you are exchanging a clothing or footwear item for a different size, please let us know when requesting the return. We will ship the requested size (if available) as soon as we receive the return.
