The Malone J-Pro2 j-style kayak rack was originally designed on the coast of Maine to withstand brutal crosswinds and crippling salt-water corrosion. The Malone J-Pro2 all steel frames are triple layered inside and outside with a corrosion resistant coating and finished with a silver powder coated UV resistant paint that delivers both looks and performance. The Malone J-Pro2 will safely transport all kayak shapes and sizes including whitewater, recreational and sea kayaks. The heavy-duty steel frame can handle boats up to 34″ wide and weighing up to 75 pounds, making the J-Pro2 a great choice for carrying larger fishing and sit-on-top kayaks. The Malone J-Pro2 kayak carrier is equipped with universal mounting hardware, allowing it to quickly mount on most aftermarket roof racks including Thule, Yakima and most factory rack crossbars. The J-Pro2 includes two bow stern safety straps and two 12′ cam buckle tie-down straps to securely tie-down and transport your kayaks.
